Liquiçá, 23 August 2025 – The Technical Administrator of the ANC, Mr Novelino dos Santos, attended the launch of Internet connections for five schools, part of a cooperation project between the Ministry of Transport and Communications (MTC) and INTELSAT, and the launch of a digital wall newspaper with the Secretary of State for Social Communication (SEKOMS).
The five schools are: Dom Martinho da Costa Lopes Public Secondary School, Maliana; Santo Inácio de Loiola College, Kasait, Liquiçá; Dom Bosco Technical Vocational School, Fatumaka, Baucau; Dom Boaventura Public Secondary School, Same, Manufahi; and Nino Conis Santana Public Secondary School, Gleno, Ermera.
The project was launched by the Minister of Transport and Communications, Eng. Miguel Marques Gonçalves Manetelu, together with the Minister of Education, Ms Dulce de Jesus Soares, the Secretary of State for Social Communication, Mr Expedito Dias Ximenes, a representative of INTELSAT and school representatives.
The ceremony took place at Santo Inácio de Loiola College, Kasait, Liquiçá Municipality.
