Dili, 11 December 2025 – The Acting President and Technical Administrator of the ANC, Mr Novelino dos Santos, and the technical regulator team took part in the second Joint Committee meeting on communications between Timor-Leste's Ministry of Transport and Communications and Indonesia's Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs, at Novo Turismo, Bidau Lecidere.
The meeting continued the bilateral talks started in October 2024. This second meeting ran for two days, 11–12 December 2025, to promote concrete cooperation in key areas: postal services, application systems, telecom services and radio communication.
In the sub-committee meeting, ANC focused on two main topics: telecom services and radio communication.
Mr Novelino dos Santos led the technical discussion in the telecom services session, which focused on strategic issues such as cross-border licensing and updates on telecom infrastructure development in Timor-Leste.
The radio communication session, led by Mr Norberto Soares, discussed frequency spectrum and radio equipment management.
The meeting was opened by the Director-General of Transport and Communications, Mr Constantino Ferreira, and attended by the Minister's advisers, TIC Timor, Correios (postal services), GPPK and the DGTC office.
