The Finance Administrator of the ANC, Ms Georgina Emília da Silva Garcia, took part in a meeting between the Ministry of Transport and Communications (MTC) and a delegation from ANACOM, Portugal's communications authority, at the ANC meeting room in Caicoli. The meeting was chaired by the Director-General of Transport and Communications, Mr Constantino Ferreira Soares, and the head of the ANACOM delegation, Prof. Manuel Cabugueira. It discussed the existing cooperation between ANACOM and ANC and how to set up a mechanism for technical and institutional cooperation between the two national regulators, so they can continue to work together and train the directorates and agencies under the MTC. TIC Timor, the National Directorate of Infrastructure and Communications (DNIC) and advisers also took part.
