ANACOM, Portugal's communications authority, working with ANC Timor-Leste, ran technical training on internal data management for ANC technical, finance, economics and consumer-protection staff at the Correios Hall, Kintal Ki'ik. The training aimed to raise staff knowledge and skills, keep them up to date with industry changes and new technologies, improve productivity and efficiency, support career progress and certification, and make sure ANC follows strict industry rules. It also aimed to empower each person, support the organisation's growth, help staff adopt digital technology and prepare them for the challenges of globalisation and fast-changing technology. The four-day training ran from Tuesday 7 to 10 October 2025 and was given by Prof. Manuel Cabugueira (ANACOM board member), Augusto Fragoso (Director-General for Information and Innovation) and Luís Roque Pedro (Director of the Porto office). The cooperation protocol between ANACOM and ANC was signed on 21 April 2022. It set up technical and institutional cooperation between the two national communications regulators to support development in both countries. The ANC Finance Administrator, Ms Georgina Emília da Silva Garcia, and section heads also took part.
