Dili, 24 February 2025 – The Acting President of the ANC, Mr Novelino dos Santos, with the ANC technical team, met Mr Márcio Silva, Country Manager of Kacific Broadband Satellites, Unipessoal, Lda. The meeting was to clarify the company's letter asking ANC to change its licence type from an individual VSAT licence to a general VSAT licence. ANC's Regulation and Inspection sections explained the technical points and the procedure: if Kacific wants to change from an individual licence to a general licence, ANC has internal rules for this and will issue a new licence, so the whole process follows the existing procedures. Kacific said it is ready to cooperate and provide all the documents required, and will wait for the final decision of the ANC Board.
