Dili, 20 February 2025 – ANC's Acting President, Mr Novelino dos Santos, held the weekly meeting with the Regulation and Inspection teams and staff to discuss progress on the technical trial of fibre-optic connectivity from Dili to RAEOA (Oe-Cusse).
The meeting focused on next steps, writing standard operating procedures (SOPs), and an inspection questionnaire for the Internet Service Providers (ISPs) that are authorised and already working in the field.
ANC is committed to making the trial transparent and impartial, in line with Decree-Laws No. 15/2012 and No. 31/2024, and to giving ISPs clear guidance on the rules, duties and protocols they must follow.
The operators and Internet Service Providers (ISPs) authorised to take part in the technical trial are:

ANC continues to monitor and inspect closely to make sure the trial goes well and helps develop the telecom sector in Timor-Leste.
