Dili, 23 June 2025 – The Finance Administrator of the ANC, Ms Georgina Emília da Silva Garcia, took part in the ICT Forum on Child Online Protection at Hotel Timor. She moderated a panel with speakers from Telkomcel, Telemor, Timor Telecom and UNICEF on the question: "How can industry prevent harm and protect children online?"
The ICT forum was organised by the Ministry of Transport and Communications with INDICCA, ChildFund and UNICEF. Its aim was to make children safer in the digital world by building cooperation and dialogue between all the groups involved.
The forum brought together government officials, international partners, civil society, the private sector and young people to respond to the threats children face online and to develop practical solutions for prevention and response.
